Description

A submerged aquatic plant. Leaves 2-7 cm long by less than 1 mm wide.

Distribution

In NSW, known from the lower Hunter and in Sydney Olympic Park.

Habitat and ecology

  • Grows in fresh or slightly saline stationary or slowly flowing water.
  • Flowers during warmer months.
  • NSW populations behave as annuals, dying back completely every summer.
