Threats

Disturbance due to recreational use, affects up to 95% of the population, including the impact of trampling as a result of 4WD vehicles, dirt bikes and motorbikes, as well as rubbish dumping. A network of trails intersect the population.
Vegetation clearing and disturbance from trackside and powerline maintenance. Maintenance can include slashing and spraying and can result in erosion or spillage, which directly impacts the species.
Inappropriate fire regimes, with too frequent fires due to arson.
Lack of knowledge on the species fire response.
Insufficient knowledge of the population distribution.
