Threats
- A limited distribution and small total population size place the species at risk from demographic, environmental uncertainties, and natural catastrophes (e.g. fire).
- Information on where the species occurs and relevant threatening processes is limiting its management at some locations.
- Prolonged drought conditions causing water stress and eventual population declines.
- Trampling by domestic cattle is impacting populations at some locations.
- Unauthorised vehicle/ bike track development is impacting populations at some locations.

Activities to assist this species
- Determine the need for an ex-situ conservation program.
- Protect areas of known and potential habitat from clearing.
- Monitor the health of the population at known sites.
- Map known sites and conduct surveys of potential habitat to locate new sites.
