Description under review. Combines 76. Mid south coast wet sclerophyll forests
Structure
Tall dense eucalypt forests with straight-boled trees over 30m tall. Understorey includes an open stratum of tall mesophyllous shrubs, occasional vines and a continuous herbaceous groundcover
Trees
Corymbia maculata, Eucalyptus pilularis, Syncarpia glomulifera, Eucalyptus saligna/botryoides, E. scias ssp. callimastha, E. agglomerata, E. paniculata ssp. paniculata
Shrubs and vines
Synoum glandulosum, Elaeocarpus reticulatus, Notelaea longifolia, Acacia mabelliae, Macrozamia communis, Breynia oblongifolia, Hibbertia aspera, Leucopogon lanceolatus, Persoonia linearis, Acacia obtusifolia, Zieria arborescens ssp. arborescens, Tristaniopsis collina, Smilax glyciphylla, Cissus hypoglauca, Eustrephus latifolius, Tylophora barbata
Forbs, graminoids and pteridophytes
Gahnia melanocarpa, Lomandra longifolia, Pteridium esculentum, Schelhammera undulata, Entolasia stricta, Dianella caerulea var. caerulea, Lepidosperma laterale, L. urophorum,
Habitat
Sheltered slopes in coastal foothills mostly below 250m elevation on moderately fertile soils derived from low-quartz sedimentary substrates
Distribution
Coastal foothills Kangaroo valley to Moruya, only found in NSW.
Notes
Species-rich assemblages, relatively consistent in composition, grading into South coast semi-mesic forests with decreasing moisture availability and Far south coast wet sclerophyll forests with increasing latitude.
Sources

Structure
Open to semi-dense eucalypt forests up to 30m tall with a non-sclerophyllous shrub stratum and prominent grassy groundcover
Trees
Corymbia maculata, Eucalyptus paniculata ssp. paniculata, E. longifolia, E. globoidea, Corymbia gummifera
Shrubs and vines
Macrozamia communis, Hibbertia aspera, Ozothamnus diosmifolius, O. ferrugineus, O. argophyllus, Notelaea venosa, Platysace lanceolata, Persoonia linearis, Leucopogon lanceolatus, Allocasuarina littoralis, Hardenbergia violacea, Eustrephus latifolius
Forbs, graminoids and pteridophytes
Entolasia stricta, Imperata cylindrica, Lepidosperma laterale, L. urophorum, Microlaena stipoides var. stipoides, Desmodium varians, Pratia purpurascens, Dianella caerulea var. caerulea, Glycine clandestina, Lomandra longifolia, Schelhammera undulata
Habitat
Undulating ridges and slopes in coastal foothills mainly on low-quartz metasediments <300m elevation
Distribution
Coastal foothills in the Nowra-Bega district, unique to the south coast of NSW.
Notes
A diverse but compositionally consistent group of assemblages having affinities with Mid south coast wet sclerophyll forests, which co-occur in more mesic parts of the landscape.
