Scattered throughout NSW coastline extending along the Victorian coast
Notes
A widespread but locally restricted group of assemblages that vary in composition markedly within local mosaics. Adam et al. (1988), for example, define 25 floristic assemblages in saltmarshes of the central NSW coast. Saltmarshes have limited floristic affinities with Mangroves. Saltmarshes have been depleted by clearing and landfill for coastal developments.
