Notes
Locally restricted but widespread species-poor group of assemblages that vary spatially and temporally in local mosaics in response to inundation cycles and spatial gradients in soil and water chemistry. Shares limited floristic affinities with Montane bogs. A large proportion of the mapped area is accounted for by Lakes George and Bathurst, which are not typical of the smaller basalt lakes. Numerous occurrences on the south Monaro tableland are not mapped.
