Structure

Low open eucalypt woodland to 12 m tall with mixed shrub and grass understorey

Habitat

Deep sandy-loam red earths on undulating sandplains or gravelly red sandy loams on crests and stony ridges in the arid north-west

Distribution

Mainly north-west of Wanaaring, with an outlier near Tibooburra on the far north-western plains. Likely to occur in southwest Qld and possibly northwest SA

Notes

A poorly known group of assemblages with floristic affinities to Stony desert mulga and Sandplain mulga.
